Must see in L.A. ??

In less that two weeks we will be L.A. bound, for two whole weeks. What are the must sees of the area? I`ve never been there, I would like to take in a ballgame at Dodger Stadium! I do have my wife and daughter to consider for my plans!

I'm so jealous Cleve, I've always wanted to head out to sunny California. obviously I can't give ya any advice since I haven't been there but I hope your family has a safe and fun trip!

Not sure about LA, but if you felt like taking a long drive North, it's some beautiful country up there!
There is always Napa Valley, Bay Area, San Francisco, & further north, the Redwoods.
If you have the slightest chance to see the redwoods, go for it-they are awesome! The easiest place to find them would be "The Avenue of the Giants"-near Garberville & Eureka. And a drive along Pacific Coast Highway 1 in that area is awesome, too. Just keep an eye out for the nude beaches!
There are alot of pretty hills in the Bay area, they still might be green from the winter rains.
The Sierra Mountains would be worth a visit, too. (east on 80 from Sacramento)

there's a ton of things to do in l.a. ... i just spent the weekend at catalina island... if you've got the time i wholly suggest ya check it out!

LA = Fake people. I'm not just talking about plastic surgery. No thanks.

San Diego is a great city to visit in that state.

Between every natural disaster possible, plus the loons in that state....you couldn't pay me to reside there.

well, i live in los angeles, and i'm not fake. neither are my friends... and what the hell are you talking about "every natural disaster possible"?? los angeles doesn't have tornados for instance... seriously... every place has fake people, plastic surgery, and it's fair share of loons...

Thanks all, and keep the tips coming! Out of 14 days I will be there only one day is tied up with a wedding. I know we will be at Hermosa Beach for the Pro Beach Volleyball Championships, my daughter is 12 and a volleyball addict, so I promised her we would go there for the day!

Thanks J-Dawg I`m looking forward to it. I wish it were basketball season since my sister in law was a Cipper cheerleader. Oh well atleast I got to see her cheer for the Atlanta Falcons.
