Steelers release 4 players; Reduce roster to 80
Steelers release four players

The Steelers reduced their roster to 80 players today by releasing four players.
Cut were linebacker Chris Ellis, wide receiver Terrence McCrae, cornerback Niles Brinkley and defensive tackle Anthony Gray.
McCrae was a 2006 graduate of Connellsville High School who played at Ohio University.
Under NFL rules, the Steelers must set their 53-man roster for the season by 6 p.m. Saturday.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause and effect, but actually from a non-linear non-subjective viewpoint it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey...stuff.

None expected to make the team but a little surprised by the early cut of Anthony Gray. Would have probably played a lot Thursday night. They Must be happy with McClendon coming on at NT.
