Anyone else notice this? He looks sharp and accurate as ever. Ben and this offense are going for broke this season.
does he still throw off his back foot when going long? that's always been a problem with him. it's why his long passes are short and hang.

I have been extremely impressed with BB so far. Not only him but his receivers also. This year is certainly going to be one to remember!!

All Ben and co. have to do is convert in the red zone. I don't care how it happens - get down there and get 7 baby.

That said - he is looking in fine, fine form. I'm seeing 36TDs, 13 INTs, 4400 passing yards and 1 Super Bowl MVP. I'm seeing 4 rings before he retires.

AND 1 HOF induction speech after getting #7 this year

I think bens gonna have a great year, he does seem like hes throwing harder than he already was and more accurately, add those improvement with a great wide receiving core, hes bound to have a career year

He's already top 5-7 by most analysts. I think he can secure a spot in the Top 5 by the end of the year if he continues his current poise.

If we use the only stat that matters then Ben is #2 QB behind Brady only.

If I have to hear about Rivers and his amazing stats one more time and why he is above Ben I'm gonna puke. He plays in the AFC west against some of the worst defenses - wow I have to face the Broncos, Chiefs and Raiders and STILL miss the playoffs.

No AFC champ game wins, no Super Bowls. I'll put him one step above Matt Ryan and two above Sanchez and that is it.

Simple answer to this speculation - The Steelers reportedly were going to try and get Rivers - guess what, he would be out of the league because of the O-line and have to face the Ravens at least 2-3 times every season. Give me a break.

1. Brady, 2. Ben, 3.Rodgers, 4.Brees, 5. P. Manning end of story, everything else is a toss up

Ben had a pretty superb game against both the Eagles and Falcons but I DID notice him still throwing off his back foot but he certainly didn't have a choice since Atlanta was was bringing everybody on a certain play. Ben actually missed a WIDE OPEN Hines Ward with Hines laying out.

Other than that, opening the game on those play-action roll-outs to the left side were phenomenal. When he had a guy in his face on the first ball, he quickly found his target, and sprung his body upright to make the play with velocity. I was shocked to see such flawless mechanics and he displayed it practically all night. That first TD to Brown couldn't of been better. Looking off the safety and then FIRING the ball with a nice mix of touch and strength. Just awesome.

I'm so excited I may poop my pants.

If anything Ben should get more recognition than any QB because of what he has to do to win.

In his career:
63.1 completion pct
22,502 yards passing - 3214 per season and that isn't counting like a half a season worth of games he has sat out.
144 TDs - 20TDs per season
86 INTS - or 12 INTs per season
274 sacks or sacked 39 times a season
92.5 career passer rating
26 Come from behind/Game Winning Drives
Career winning pct% (.704)
Oh yea - Rookie of the Year, 2-1 in SBs

Forget what is overall record is but isn't 3 rings a lock?
I can say Hines and Troy would also get in with 3 rings - who else? I'm thinking Farrior might have to garner some consideration.

That 26 come from behind/game winning drives is a healthy percentage of his career wins - so I don't want to hear he had a great defense that carried him.

Yeah Ben and the offense look great in training camp and pre season games but unfortunately it all hinges on that o line play. All the mechanics improvements and the potent receiving core will mean nothing if he isn't protected.
