William Gay was the starting LCB for the Seattle game. Obviously we should not read too much into how are D performed against what is basically a Pop Warner team. Still, based on the gamebook from NFL.com, it would appear that Gay was thrown at six times and allowed three receptions for 17 yards. Not bad. Ike appears to have been thrown at twice, with one reception for 9 yards.

I don't have a crystal ball, but if McFadden had been the starter, I think Tarvaris Jackson would have done significantly better.

you do know theres differesnt positions assigned different jobs on special teams, right?

battle is not a gunner. his job is rarely caught on television because the camera follows the ball and returner. battle is upfield clogging up lanes and redirecting the returner to the gunners.
