Ben To Teammates - Quit Tweeeting About Ravens

Ben Roethlisberger wishes his teammates hadn't been Tweeting back and forth with some Ravens this summer. He did not name names but LB LaMarr Woodley said the Ravens would not get to a Super Bowl because they could not get past the Steelers to get there, and S Ryan Clark said there really is no rivalry because "both teams have to win equally" to make it a rivalry.

"It's a huge rivarly,'' Roethlisberger insisted, "and I keep telling our guys to stop Tweeting stuff and everything because I'm the one who feels the brunt of it, not them, not the defensive guys."

ben is just being facetious with a tongue in cheek statement.

@Steelers_Fever follows just about every steeler who has a twitter acct and very few mention anything about the ravens.

woodley made his comment on an in studio appearance of nfl network's "total access" and it was ray rice who felt the need to comment on hines wards DWI (prompting some fire back from clark).

other than that, twitter hasnt been the medium used to fan the flames. now the regular print media is a different story. just ask casey hampton who makes the correct observation that the ravens go out of their way to talk themselves up.

t. suggs is a prick and ray rice needs to accuse r. mendenhall of a false tweet to fire his own team up.
