great informative article by pat kirwan on nfl.com talking about offensive packages different teams use. some good ol x's and o's with some interresting charts using the steelers and seahawks personnel to illustrate his points. its pretty long so heres the link and an exerpt.

What a job that guy gets? Fantastic analysis.

It's somewhat remarkable that Heath played 77% as a rookie. And Kreider brings his lunchbox as goes about his business like a pro and gets in nearly 60%.

As for Seattle and the way they employ the fullback...it's no wonder that they got a steal in David Kirtman and Kirtman has to be so stoked to go to a team that won't leave him in the dungeon.

heath played more snaps than any rookie last year, except for one. i know it was the patriot lineman. logan mankins i believe.

That really is a quality find, and a good article by Kirwan. It disturbs me when people try to dumb down or oversimplify the NFL...it's an incredibly complex game...
