Tomlin coached the defensive backs and Christensen was the offensive coordinator. Colts tight ends coach Ricky Thomas was also on that staff in 2001, coaching tight ends. Colts defensive line coach John Teerlinck was also on the Broncos’ staff in 2000-2001. • Steelers linebackers coach Keith Butler and Colts offensive line coach Pete Metzelaars were teammates with the Seattle Seahawks from 1982-1984. • Steelers wide receivers coach Scottie Montgomery was teammates with Colts DE Tyler Brayton with the Oakland Raiders in 2003. • Colts quarterbacks coach Frank Reich and Steelers QB Charlie Batch were teammates with the Detroit Lions from 1997-1998. Steelers K Shaun Suisham COLLEGE/PRO TEAMMATES • Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin and Colts defensive backs coach Alan Williams were teammates together at The College of William & Mary from 1990-1991. Tomlin owns the school record for yards per catch (20.2), and Williams owns the single-game postseason record for most touchdowns (4). • Steelers offensive coordinator Bruce Arians and assistant special teams coach Amos Jones coached at Temple University with Clyde Christensen from 1983-1985. WHAT TO LOOK FOR PITTSBURGH TEAM NOTES • Pittsburgh will look to improve their record on Sunday Night Football to 16-16 overall and 10-12 on the road. • Pittsburgh looks for its second straight win on Sunday Night Football. • The Steelers look to improve to 325-206 all-time against AFC opponents. • The Steelers are looking to improve to 15-6 all-time during the regular season against the Indianapolis Colts. • Pittsburgh looks to improve to 7-5 on the road against the Colts and earn their first victory in Lucas Oil Stadium. • The Steelers look to snap a two-game regular-season losing streak to the Colts. PITTSBURGH INDIVIDUAL NOTES Head Coach Mike Tomlin • Looks to improve record on Sunday Night Football to 6-4 (4-3 on the road), and overall record in primetime games to 16-5 (8-3 on the road). QB Ben Roethlisberger • Needs four touchdown passes to equal 150 for his career, becoming only the second Steelers’ quarterback to reach the mark (Terry Bradshaw). WR Mike Wallace • With 100-yards receiving will record his 11th 100-yard receiving game of his career and his sixth straight. • Needs one more 100-yard receiving game to pass WR Yancey Thigpen (10) for the sixth-most in franchise history. WR Hines Ward • Needs 33 receiving yards to surpass Hall of Famer Don Maynard (11,834) for 20th in NFL history. WR Antonio Brown • One kickoff return for a touchdown away from tying Larry Anderson and Will Blackwell (2) for the second-most career KORs for TDs in Pittsburgh history. TE Heath Miller • After recording four receptions for 60 yards in the first two weeks of the season, needs 10 receptions to reach 300 for his career, becoming the seventh player in franchise history to reach the mark. LB James Harrison • Needs 3.5 sacks to tie Greg Lloyd (53.5) for the sixth-highest career total in the history of the Steelers. SS Troy Polamalu • One interception shy of tying Jack Lambert (28) for the ninth-most in Steelers’ history. • Needs one interception return for a touchdown to tie Dwayne Woodruff, Deshea Townsend and Tony Campagno (3) for the third most in franchise history. • Needs 41 yards to surpass Chad Scott (368) for the ninth-most interception return yards in a career in Steelers’ history. DE Aaron Smith • Needs two sacks to tie Dwight White (46.0) for the eighth-highest career total in Steelers’ history. LB LaMarr Woodley • After registering 1.5 sacks in the first two games to surpass Ernie Holmes (40.0) for the 10th-most in franchise history, needs 3.5 to catch teammate Aaron Smith (44.0) for the ninth most all-time.
