2 of D line or 3 on D line

Were my eyes decieving me or were there quite a bit of plays where only 2 of our 3 D line players were on the field? I do not mean just a few plays, there was a lot of plays.

Which means we went to some convulted 4-3 with an extra d back, which allowed them to run and us to have less pressure. I have the game taped, but I'm certain I kept looking and seeing only 2 of the 3 position players.

we actually play more in nickel than our actual base defense. in this case k. lewis comes in the game and c. hampton leaves.

Thanks for the heads up. However it was the first time that I noticed this a lot, and the colts were constantly successful with some runs. Take away a cork, the wine pours out, lol

We started the game that way as well.
