Throwbacks?

I like them a lot as well. I always thought the Steelers gold was very unique, and to have more of it? Pretty cool if you ask me.

Love the throwbacks, hate the yellow-azz helmets though. That uniform would look SHARP if they wore the normal black helmets with them. They look like street signs with those yeller hats....

I like the helmets. Maybe a little too bright, but not bad. Although the black helmets would look pretty sick with the jerseys.

I'm not a big fan of the alternate/throwback craze in the NFL, but the Steelers' throwbacks I do actually really like. I know I'm in the minority, but I dig the yellow helmets. I don't know why people have such an issue with the helmets being yellow when Green Bay has worn yellow helmets for decades and no one cares. I guess its just because it's different from what we're all used to.

Regarding the rest of the league, the only other throwbacks I can think of that I like are the Buffalo ones and (dodges rocks) the Pats' throwbacks. The worst of the lot have to be those piss and shit colored Broncos throwbacks. God, those things are hideous. It's bad enough when you color your uniform to look like a pair of dirty underwear, but then they had to top it off with those ridiculous striped socks. Why oh why didn't they just model the throwbacks on the old red and blue uniforms that Elway wore in the 80s? Those were much better.

Other examples of throwbacks and alternate uniforms that should have never seen the light of day are those awful light blue and yellow Eagles uniforms that made them look like a cross between the Michigan Wolverines and a basket of Easter eggs, and those puke green Seattle Seahawks uniforms. The Seattle uniforms have been known to cause uncontrollable projectile vomiting if you stare at them for too long.

Haha, I forgot about those ones. I have a friend that is a Bucs fan and he really digs those ugly uniforms. No idea why, other than nostalgic reasons, I suppose.
