If Hines says he's going to try to play, he will. I highly doubt he will be the #2 receiver though. He will probably play 3rd and mainly come in on 3rd downs. Is Worilds ever going to be back, damn? Farrior is questionable with a bad calve, I don't know if this is good or bad, Farrior always gets burnt and definetly will if hurt, but Sylverster would be exposed by Brady. Either way I don't like it, IMO stick with Nickel and Dime. Green Ellis, (what's with so many men having two last names all of a sudden about anyway?), being out helps a bit if he actually misses the game. Their defense is real bad, if Mayo and/or Haynesworth are out, even just one of them, we should be able to run somewhat well. As for the CB's, they didn't have one that could cover really any of our receivers or that Ben wouldn't expose, so I don't think it matters much.

At least one of the faster recievers can catch the bubble screen.

Toe injuries are some of the most painful, you cant drive off the foot (something very essential for an OL).....and BTW "turf toe" led to the retirement of the best MLB of all time, JACK LAMBERT.

Antonio Brown delivers (My little bro and I now call him UPS!) and E Man will do fine also, let's not forget about our other tough veteran Cotchery. I know he's no Ward and this is his first year with us but who knows... He used to play the Gaytriots twice a year.

What makes me nervous is Farriors injury. They haven't really given Sylvester any playing time so, if it's his job today - Let's Go 55!

I wish Worilds would get healthy or Silverback came back sooner so Timmons could be where he's supposed to be.

I can remember a time whent an announcement about Ward not being able to play (or to play at less than 100%) meant that our passing game was severely crippled.

But now it doesn't seem so devastating.

I love Hines and what he's done for this team but I no longer see him as the most important receiver on the field.
I feel very good about Wallace, Brown and Sanders to the point where even though I'd still love to see Hines out there, it's not a major game-changer if he isn't.

Our little team is growing up!

Dang I was hoping Ward's night or two in his Hyperbarick Chamber may help. Well younger players time to shine!

unless we go out of our way to get to Brady at all costs and actually play up to our potential on offense for four quarters nothing else matters. Completing 1 of those 2 tasks wont be enough.

Don't worry, Bruce Arians will find a way to stop using what works.

I'm totally open for being blasted in here if we win . . .in fact, I'm praying for it.

I think we are underestimating how important the things Ward does for us are against the Pats. First of all, nobody on offense has his leadership and this is a game where we may very well need it. I'm not sure of the stats, but the eye test says we are not great in the redzone, Hines is usually the guy making the catch in the redzone/endzone, so in a way we just got even worse. Hines knows how to get open when it counts, 3rd down or a coming from behind drive, he's often the one in the middle of the field picking up 25 yards. I hope the young guys and Cotchery can step up and make plays, being that Ben has only thrown to Cotchery a few times in an actual game makes me nervous too. Farrior being out is a lose/lose situation. If he was in he would have been 5 steps behind a TE or slot receiver all day, but the problem is we are thin at LB and the only guy to replace him is Sylvester. Now I've been wanting Sylvester to start getting a lot more playing time, I was in favor of starting him in the middle when Timmons moved to the edge, BUT NOT AGAINST BRADY. I hope they just send him blitzing a lot and don't put him in coverage situations. Of all games that we have 3 LB's out, damn. I was very confident that we could win this game, but when you lose your two biggest veteran leadership players, one on each side of the ball, it makes it hard to have the confidence. Don't get me wrong, we can still win and hopefully we will, but it just got a lot harder.
