speaking of stacked wr corps, i wonder if jerricho cotchery feels like a moron for declining a higher paycheck with the jets, thinking he'd get more chances to play here in pittsburgh. i think he'd have more opportunities to see the field with the jets, he was their 3rd best wr. over here he's like #5

It does seem rather odd that with all of the linebacker injuries lately, the Steelers haven't picked him up to bolster the depth.

It's a practice move. Hines Ward is limited in practice and Emmanuel Sanders is in Texas attending to his mother's final expenses. They also need a receiver with size to emulate Anquan Boldin, and that certainly is not Tyler Grisham. Plus it seems like Chris Hoke went through a full practice today and Hampton got through a full game healthy. So, mystery solved.
