My anger of failing to get a first down was based on what seems to happen in every game-clinching situation we're put in this season. This is one of many time's we've relied on our defense to close out a game, after a failed offensive attack.

Looking on to Cincinnati now. I'd say it's time we get a divisional win!

If we make it to the playoffs healthy, or even make it at all, it'll be a different outcome. Focus is now on a surprisingly impressive Cincinnati
Definitely...I'll drink to that.

Apologies if I've let my emotions run over. I get that people are pissed at the offense too, it's just so much more of a battle for them to get points against the Ravens than it is for the defense to keep the Ravens from getting points (generally speaking)....and vice versa. That's why the majority of these games are so freaking close.

They've just got to put this behind them and focus on winning the majority of their remaining games (especially the Bengals and Browns), and they'll be in.

AMEN!!!! I'm glad someone else sees it like I do. The offense needs to win the game in the clutch, rather than putting the pressure on the defense to win it. Yeah, the defense blew it on the final drive tonight, but it never should have been put in that situation. The same thing happened against the Patriots and Jags. Just like with the Ravens, the offense gave them the ball with a chance to win the game on the final drive. Against the Jags and Pats, the defense held up. It came up short against the Ravens. At some point, the offense needs to start putting games away rather than relying on the defense to bail it out.

You make it sound like the offense coughed it up at their own 20. Putting an offense that took 3 quarters to rack up a single first down two weeks ago at their own eight yard line with two minutes and change is hardly asking to be "bailed out".

And hopefully the Steelers finish the season with their hearts in the game. With the amount of talent we have on offense, and the level our defense plays at each and every week without some of it's greatest players, it comes down to one thing. Capitalizing.

If our offense can capitalize, our defense will have something to go on. If the defense is sent back out onto the field knowing their offense couldn't put in work, things just won't fall into place. Look at what happened when the Steelers scored to take the lead. The defense stepped up and set up the offense to close it out. Which by the way, Harrison forced the fumble which got us the ball and a resulting score in the first place.

The defense is exceeding expectations, especially considering it's missing some of it's best players almost every week. Now it's time this offense take the reigns.

Baltimore may not have came away with a first down in three quarters in that game, but we played that very same team in Pittsburgh just a few weeks earlier, and they completely shut us out of the second half.

There's a difference between not scoring for a half and not even moving the chains.

The Ravens didn't move the chains for a half, and we didn't score for a half. Unless it's statistics your arguing, there's really not a difference at all. Either way, points weren't scored. Not to mention B'more played them at their house.

So, I guess asking the defense to stop a touchdown with 92 yards of real estate to their rear was too much to ask? Not a field goal, mind you, but a touchdown?

Asking the defense to go out their and close out the game because your offense couldn't advance the ball 30 feet for a first down or even prevent a delay of game penalty from happening to deny our kicker the chance to make a field goal and extend the lead to seven points?

Surely you'd think even asking the kicker to save our asses at this point would be embarrassing. I see an offensive problem here, just sayin!
