I don't even know where to begin with this. Vinny Testaverde (or Dave Krieg, or Jim Everett, or...) is as good a place as any. Or how about Brendon Ayanbadejo, who's been on the same Ravens team for the same amount of time. Is he the "winningest" LB in the league?
Dictionary.com defines winningest as "winning most often." I don't know that we have to look into this any further, although I think that regularly choking away the big games - as Joe has most assuredly done - would disqualify him roundly and soundly. If we're going to talk about quarterbacks actually winning games, a good place to start is game-winning drives. Joe Flacco has 10, as many as Jason Campbell, Alex Smith and Byron Leftwich (who's barely played the past five years). Matt Ryan has 15 in the same number of years. Ben has 23. That's winning. |

Wow you're an idiot. My stat is wins since 2008. Testaverde retired in 2008. Herp. Anyways, why are you all so mad about Joe's success? lol. Is it because Ben is on his way down and Joe is on his way up?

yea yea yea, you keep talking. Joe is just going to quietly get better and better every single year, whooping your ass twice this year, including carrying us to a win with 8 seconds left against your OLD, SLOW defense. IF you make the playoffs, we'll kick your asses again at M&T. When your terrible ass team is watching the SB instead of playing in it, you can talk about how average Joe is.

Can't wait to hear the excuses this year when they fail yet again to get past us in the Divisionals or AFCCG. Whatever. It'll be a good game, that much we know.

Five games difference. Ben serves four game suspension and Flaccid and the Rabids play a wildcard game. Either way Ben as QB has a better win percentage during same time. BTW the Steelers won 3 of 4 of Bens suspension, with him playing they win all four.
I find it funny that you say Flaccid's stock is rising while Ben's is fading. Even with the Steelers missing the playoffs one year of the time frame Ben still has a higher win percentage as QB. |

when it comes to the tale of the tape, ben has flacco beat in EVERY single passing category. ben is regularly mentioned with the likes of brady, brees, rodgers, and manning when it comes to wins, passer rating, completion percentage, and most importantly- superbowls.
lets take a very important passer statistic (completion %) and see who are the 5 suckiest in the NFL- 27 Mark Sanchez NYJ QB 210 373 56.3 28 Joe Flacco BAL QB 230 411 56.0 29 Sam Bradford STL QB 179 328 54.6 30 Christian Ponder MIN QB 92 169 54.4 31 Curtis Painter IND QB 132 243 54.3 32 Blaine Gabbert JAC QB 128 264 48.5 thats some pretty good company flacco keeps! he sucks worse than mark ****ing sanchez HAHAHAHAHZOMG TOODAMNFUNNY!ravenfans have absolutely no business even comparing themselves to the steelers until they are no longer playing second fiddle and the little red headded stepbrothers to the freaking J-E-T-S. the best the ravenfans can ever hope for is that flacco be mentioned in the same breath as dilfer and johnson instead of glabbert, sanchez, and ponder. that is some hilariously serious ownage.

Oh, wait. . . oh, my. . . . 9 of 21 for 123 yds and 2 picks. . . Ouch. No wait, he got a TD! Oh. . . a rushing TD. Who got carried that year? Oh hey, he set a record though! Lowest passer rating of any winning QB in NFL history in a superbowl! 22.6! Impressive!! |
