My Steelers' brethren: Let's make an analogy.

What a difference a week makes. Last Sunday night I was rushing out the door at 10:45 PM CST for work just after seeing Torrey Smith haul in the final score of the dagger that dropped us into third place in OUR division. Last night I awaken at 7:20 PM CST (I work third shift on the weekends, BTW) to see that not only do my beloved Steelers win versus the pesky Bengals, but that the Ravens lost to boot, putting us back into first for now.

But why stop with those two games? I love spaghetti, and I love BBQ ribs, but my favorite is still steak. I'd prefer my steak with the trimmings- a nice baked potato (or a well made french fry), corn on the cob and warm cinnamon apples. But I'm good with just the steak at the end of the day.

Here's what I wanted on my plate yesterday:
Steak= Steelers win
Baked potato= Ravens loss
Corn on the cob= Cowboys loss
Warm cinnamon apples= Patriots loss

What I ended up is with a Porterhouse a tad under cooked and a tasty baked potato with butter and sour cream. Daddy's very happy with that.
