Borges writing about football is at times laughable. You wonder if the guy has actually won any fantasy football leagues, because that's the only aspect of the game he appears to grasp--- scoring, individual achievments. Well, he also writes about off-the-field stuff, but I don't care to read about most of that junk.
classic example of a write getting syndicated because he happens to live in a town where they strung a few championships together..... the ol' "Surely the writers there must've learned something too, right?" mentality. The most interesting guy to read on Sundays, for me, is the old TE from Dallas.... oh crap, what was his name? Novacek! Jay Novacek.... he gives some interesting insight about the offensive/defensive matchups, but he gets biased for the NFC, somehow. (LOL) |
