Just a simple question for everyone. Do you guys think that Harrison has the ability to change the way he plays in order to stop getting fined/suspended. I beleive he has to in order to stop losing money hurting the team (the next time there is any hard hits, he will most likely get a multi-game suspension, undesirably so). I sure that he has the power and will to change while still be aggressive on the field.

Yeah, and then win #7 and Harrison spit's in Goodell's face. Happy thoughts.

I don't think that he hasn't changed the way he plays. Otherwise he probably would have been suspended earlier. All he really needs to do is be more consistent with lowering his strike zone.

He went 16 games without having a "fineable" penalty.
Yea, he can and has changed his style of play. |

I think he's already changed. The thing is he's always going to play more aggressive than others. He's one of the hardest hitting linebackers in the league.
The McCoy hit was a tough one. It was illegal by the book but Harrison was put in a tough situation with McCoy's inability to make his mind up. |

Harrison got screwed on the McCoy hit and subsequent suspension. McCoy made it look like he was going to take off and right before he got to the line of scrimmage he quickly threw it. It was a bang bang play.
I was watching NFL Total Access the other morning. They always interview Kurt Warner about his top quarterbacks list and ask him his opinion on current events/issues around the league. When asked about the Harrison suspension Warner actually stated that it was a bang-bang play and that he didn't believe the hit warranted a suspension. He did say he thought there should be a fine for the helmet to helmet contact though. The only people that seem to think the suspension was warranted are bitter Steeler haters, Ravens fans, Brownies fans, and Roger GODell and his cronies. |

He already has changed his game, he just had one fluke hit that had to be carefully analyzed to be determined illegal anyway and everyone overreacted to it. He played an entire season's worth of games without "headhunting" or whatever the media says he's doing nowadays.
