the steelers with lebeau have never stopped the dink and dunk offense. lebeau is content with a passive defense. it's not going to change.

I was wondering why our cb's were playing so soft. They made Alex Smith look like a pro bowler. The d was flat to say the least, does james harrison make this kinda of difference?

Alex Smith OWNED and embarrassed Starks last night. That was ugly.

Also, we knew they were throwing slants but playing people 40 yards downfield. Really?

lol 40 yards!!! Sure seemed like that though!!! I like dick lebau; but really i think his creativity with this 3 4 has gotten stale!! u see other 3 4's and man; they remind me of cowhers d's!! I personally hope he retires and i think its time for tomlin to make this team his team and change a few things!!

This team does not adjust at Half-time for shit. All year long they have come out of the half and consistently played poorly. Once again way too many times Ben looked to throw deep against a fast pass rushing team.

I really think this is the truth. As tough as he is, Ben should have sat and let a mobile Charlie Batch play. If Ben or the team thought that Charlie may get in there and make some bad decisions or throw some picks so he better play no matter how he felt, well Ben went in there made bad decisions at times and threw 3 picks and fumbled. All TO's led to SF points. I doubt if Charlie Batch would have done any worse.

Apparently we enjoy making POS QB's look like probowlers. lol Flacco, etc. Smith is not a QB that has much talent. than again, Dilfer didn't either, lol

This wasn't the fact that Pouncey was out, Legursky played decent. Starks, Gilbert played like double amputtees on crotches.

Very dissppointed in the way we got our asses handed to us last night but a cheerleader coach.

Obviously in hindsight we can say, Ben shouldve sat, or came up with other scenarios lol. but we all know, we wanted Ben out there. What may have been a good idea is to let Batch go 2 series. See what happened. If he went down without much success than let Ben go in. If Batch scored, than let Ben rest.
But again, that idea is after we got beaten into the ground, lol

4 turnovers and 10 penalties can have this amazing effect on a team

The entie game we played loose. First half as usual we made a POS QB look like a great QB. Piss poor coverage the entire game.

Than we listen to Gruden who praises every single player as being great. Not one bad player in the NFL, lol
Did you hear me screaming about this from the bar? Lewis was playing like a 3rd safety!
