Is that not the "standard"? He spoke out on Harrisons suspension prior to the appeal ruling which pretty much sealed any chance of reversal or lighter sentence. Even though he probably had no chance due to the commishs standards, but doesn't help when your coach chucks you under the bus and backs up on your head.

So why should he not state " We had some DB breakdowns throughout the game etc etc.. " We couldn't cover crap! Couldve said something.

He has no problem taking full responsibility again. Whatever that means.

If you think Tomlin saying anything on Harrison's behalf was going to change anything after being called into the principal's office weeks before for speaking up in Ryan Clark's defense over that bullshit $40 thousand fine he got, you need to put down the crack pipe.

State it after the process has gone its course. That has been my point of contention, and still is, and it will not change. He opened his mouth during the suspension appeal process.
This has nothing to do with the hit being bs or not, illegal or legal. The hit is what it is, the only two people in the world that don't remember or haven't seen the hit is the Shurmur and McCoy. lol

I gave you a solid point, that Tomlin has spoken out against his players, thereby tossing them under your proverbial bus. So if he did it before, he can do it again.
I also didnt state, he needed to state a name. All he had to do was say our DB's sucked ass last night. How is Tomlin taking responsibility for his team sucking last night and failing to cover a wr who got 32 receptions for 500 plus yards all season?
Did Tomlin fail to cover Thomas? Did he fail to sprint to catch a 240 poiund WR? Because a 180 corner should be able to catch a 240 so called MONSTER, right? Not if you jogged.
What is Tomlin aplogizing for?
Instead a reporter has to get creative to get him to answer a question and call him out on a "Cover Zero" call by the coaching staff with 11 in the box. Which of course he than stated, well it wasn't a cover zero, lol Really Mike? It wasn't?

Does Pouncey get a pass for his tweeting antics? Tomlins response was " I haven't seen him(meaning pouncey yet). Does that mean, when I see him, I'll deal with it? Or just blowing it off? Pouncey made it public, it should be publically dealt with. If Pouncey said something to his team mates, than its a private. but he went public on a fan with his childish antics.

Cowher would've had Pouncey walking home as opposed to flying if that occurred when he was a coach.

People are still listening to Tomlin's press conferences? There's so much more valuable things you could do with your time. Watering your lawn and watching reruns of Glee are some examples.

Exactly, every press conference is the same: responsibility for the loss...gathering our men....things to work on. I don't know what I expected him to say actually, it's just so cliche, the same answer year after year.
