I'm taking a wild guess that it doesn't take over a year to learn a playbook. Brown wasn't a rookie...if he didn't know it then the "mentor/leader extraordinaire" Hines Ward wasn't doing his job. Am I right?

Have you ever heard the saying you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink?

My word for word at the beginning of the year was that "Hines should be a #4 or #5 receiver on this team." If he will take the vet minimum, I'm all for it. But his production and price don't match what he's offering the team at this point. I think that much we can all agree on.

Either way, keeping Hines isn't the biggest issue we're dealing with in the offseason (firing Arians, dumping a plethora of veteran bodies like McFadden, Kemoeatu, and Battle, drafting an ILB to succeed Farrior, finding a guard, etc.). Bringing him back won't exactly be moving the team in the right or wrong direction. He'd be a luxury to have, but it's really not going to make much of a difference.
cool story, bro!

too bad youve already been exposed as a liar, back tracker, and someone w/o absolutely no credibility other than being a spin doctor hater.

What have I lied about? Or backtracked? You've said this before but you have yet to answer my question because you always dodge it. Maybe you're talking about yourself?

I've been pretty consistent about Antonio Brown and Hines Ward. I haven't backtracked once. That's why you're always whining and complaining. Resort to namecalling because you don't know what to do when I prove you wrong. Which is often.

You on the other hand...a fool and don't know football 101

Owned again hipchest.

Prior to the season I forcasted that either Emmanuel Sanders or Antonio Brown would pass Hines Ward on the Depth Chart (I was partial to Brown). However, no way did I ever imagine both would surpass him. And who could have guessed Jerricho Cotchery would become a bigger part of the Pittsburgh Steelers gameplan than #86? I didn't expect the drop off to happen so abruptly. Ward has been a great Steeler for as long as I've been following the team. He is deserving of enshrinement in the Hall someday and no doubt will always be remembered in this city. But unfortunately, I think it is time to move on. Unless the player wants to return for the veteran minmum as the #5 option on the depth chart, I feel it would be a poor decision to keep him around.
