Default running back coach?

First of all I continue to wish Kirby Wilson the best and a speedy recovery, but if he's not able to return next season, then who takes over for him?

That's a good question. Coach Wilson was actually a shoe-in for offensive coordinator if Arians left, but right now we're all just hoping he'll be okay. Looking at our current staff, i'd say we'll probably be looking outside of the organization for his replacement, and the same goes for Arians.

I've always thought that Merrill Hoge would make a good offensive coordinator, but most people don't normally go straight to coordinator without any coaching experience, they normally start off as a position coach, so I was thinking that he would be someone on my list of candidates if I had any say over the Steelers coaching staff, that is if he's even interested in coaching.
