The premise of this thread is a tad bizarre, however, there is no need to insult the new poster. That being said, I am old enough to remember TB and this thread did bring up great memories for me of Bradshaw making those great throws in Super bowls, I'll never forget the throw to Swann in Super Bowl X where Bradshaw got hit as he threw and was knocked out.

The latter two he had come into his own and were more offensive.
I'm also old-enough (52+) to remember Bradshaw well ~ despite having no interweb, he was belittled worse than Roethlisberger ever-was by the home-town crowd:
if Roethlisberger would've had his throwing shoulder seperated at Heinz Field, can anyone imagine the home crowd cheering as he'd limp off the field, clutching his injured arm

tough to top that one

I've always thought that the best way to explain how Terry Bradshaw played to the younger fans, who never saw him in-person is this:
imagine a bigger, stronger, better-running, bazooka-armed version of Brett Favre, who eventually minimized his throwing into double & triple coverage (something John Madden's lover never did), and who would rather have a win than a high QB-rating

With today's OL permitted to legally hold on passing-plays, defenders not allowed to play bump-n-run, pass-happy OC, and emphasis on going empty-backfield/shotgun on 3rd & 1, he'd throw 40+ TD passes every year:
he'd make Marsha, Peyton, & Drew look-like dink & dump passers

Amen Brother!!! Fans back then did not appreciate Terry til later in his career. I have a feeling some of Ben's detractors will tell their kids how great he was much later.

Ben and TB don't exactly see eye to eye on much. I doubt they would make a good combination together. The idea of Bradshaw being OC seems kind of absurd to me. But there is no chance in H E | | of it actually happening so it doesn't matter. I wish they would just hire an OC already and stop these OC threads. We are all bored since the Steelers got Tebowed, so I guess we need to talk about something. I don't know if I'll even bother watching the Super Bowl this year and I dislike both teams.

It boils down to this:
After TB left the Steelers', and after helping them get 4 SB rings prior, what has HE "actually" done coaching, and/or even playing wise, since 1983. ?
Sure, Dick LeBeau, is older that God, but Dick has never left the League from day 1.
TB loves to play, granted, but he didn't exactly try to get back in the NFL (coaching/playing wise) since 1983 !!!, or did He ?, I may be wrong.

Needless to say, I will always love and respect Terry, I mean, as a Steelers' Fan, who in their right-mind couldn't ?!, but,
Unfortunately, this particular thread maybe one and done.

On the other hand, how 'bout TB as a QB coach ? (and no, I don't really care if Ben likes it or not?)
Again, and as others have posted here, why would TB want to make le$$, AND, probably get fried alive at the same time ?
Hey, it would defnitely be a challenge for ALL parties involved,... but... comon !!!,
even I'll just drink Molson Canadian, and NOT Peruvian-laced whatever liquids anymore ???!!!
:)
