RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
1 medium onion, finely chopped 1 small potato, coarsely grated 1 small carrot, grated 1 pounds lean ground beef 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce 4 oz. cooked rice 1 small egg, beaten Lavash bread RECIPE METHOD Cook onion in a microwave oven on High for 1 minute. Drain on paper kitchen towels along with grated potato and carrot; the mixture must not be too moist or patties will be soggy. Combine all ingredients, except lavash bread, in a large bowl. Form the mixture into 24 small, even fingers. Prepare a fire in a grill to medium heat. Grill fingers on hotplate for 10 minutes, turning occasionally. Serve wrapped in small strips of lavash bread with a dipping sauce of your choice. |
