I made this after spending $10 on ebay for all of the cards and the XL pennant

took about 2 hours to paint and put the cards in a decent order

I hope to get it signed one day...

ok, why do i get the feeling that someday there will be a team of police detectives getting a first hand look at this room after Bettis is reported missing?

good job. looks great. ive bought several of these packages off of ebay. i got one for 3 bucks that had 300 steeler cards (mostly a bunch of nobodys) and ive thought of mounting them like you have.

i got 2 of his "rookie" cards with him in notre dame, I am sure I have some valuable cards on that, I want to take it somewhere to get it appraised, do you know of any card shops around pittsburgh that would do something like this?

no i dont since im in nm, but i do know if the individual cards are glued the collectibility and per card value is essentially lost. the card market is so finicky even a brand new card hast to be virtually perfect to have any real value. a tiny nick or non razor sharp corner can cut the value of a card in half. i would just by a beckett football card price guide. and look them up in that. you could sell your piece to a collector though who just likes what youve done but doesnt have the know how or patience to do it themselves. i bet you could get $50 for it.

btw i bought a bunch of bens rookie cards on ebay before he played in preseason for about 5 bucks apiece. most of them now book at about 50 bucks apiece. unfortunately i didnt want to shell out $100 for an autographed rookie card. some of thes are now valued $800-$1000

I used these photo quality mounting tape squares, they come off very easily, but i dont plan on selling it
