Tomlinson hands down.....He puts up big numbers on, in my opinion, a mediocre team. Over a 100 receptions in a season for a RB besides over 1,000 yds is sick. Faulk is no longer in his prime, Ricky is too busy gettin high and I think Priest is just about done in KC.. Larry Johnson should take over in my opinion.

Just to restate what many others said...Tomlinson is, overall, the best RB in the league right now. Amazing in the running game. A huge threat in the passing game. Can't say how well he blocks because I haven't watched too many Bolts' games. But the guy is amazing. A threat to run for over 100 yards and 75-100 yards receiving each game.
At the same time, until the last year or so, he's had to be the entire offense. I'm exaggerating some but before Gates and possibly Parker or McCardell, it was LT and only LT. I wonder if that ended up making him a better RB? Meaning him having to bear the entire burden (more or less) of the offense made him a more complete and more effective RB? Interesting. |
