Default VIZIO Top Value Performer

I received this message from our contact form:

I wanted to reach out to let you know that Le’Veon Bell is a finalist for the 8th annual VIZIO Top Value Performer trophy, an award given to the NFL player whose on-field performance most-exceeds the value of their contract. Russell Wilson has had a monopoly on the award the past two years, but this year’s field is WIDE OPEN.

Here is the full lists of nominees:
CJ Anderson – Broncos
Le’Veon Bell – Steelers
Justin Forsett – Ravens
Mo Sanu – Bengals
Kenny Stills – Saints
The Top Value Performer is completely decided by fan votes, allowing fans to really rally behind their favorite candidate and vote as often as they’d like at VIZIO.com/TVP, where they can also check out NFL Analyst, Charley Casserly’s take on each player. Voting is open now, until Monday, Jan 19 at 11:59 PM PT.

A local favorite, we thought your audience might be interested in learning how they can support Le’Veon and his breakout season. Please see below for official press release and some quick-hitting details on the program.

Thanks, and please let me know if you’re interested in sharing the details to help drive votes via a post, mention, Tweet, etc.

MORE ABOUT THE 2014 FINALISTS
C.J. Anderson // @CjAndersonRB9 // #TVPAnderson
Denver, Running Back #22
2014 Base Salary: $495,000
Undrafted out of college, C.J. Anderson signed with Denver prior to the 2013 season where he barely made it on to the field during his rookie year. 2014 had a similar feeling as Anderson found himself buried on Denver’s depth chart. Mid-way through this season however, Anderson got his chance and has not looked back. Since his breakout game against Oakland, Anderson has been a fixture in Denver’s high-scoring offense.

Le’Veon Bell // @L_Bell26 // #TVPBell
Pittsburgh, Running Back #26
2014 Base Salary: $495,000
A second-year player, Le’Veon Bell has built on a solid rookie campaign by becoming one of this season’s breakout stars. Among the league-leaders in yards from scrimmage, Bell is just as dangerous catching the ball out of the backfield as he is taking handoffs. Bell accounts for a huge part of Pittsburgh’s offense.

Justin Forsett // @Jforsett // #TVPForsett
Baltimore, Running Back #29
2014 Base Salary: $730,000
Justin Forsett is one of the league’s best stories this season. In his seventh year and on his fourth team, Forsett has found a home in Baltimore. In the midst of a career season, Forsett is at the top of the league in numerous rushing categories and has been consistent all year.

Mohamed Sanu // @Mo_12_Sanu // #TVPSanu
Cincinnati, Wide Receiver #12
2014 Base Salary: $590,000
Stepping in for an injured player, Cincinnati needed Sanu to take on a bigger offensive role this season and he has done just that. In his third year, Sanu is having a career season with personal bests for receptions, yards and touchdowns. Growing up in New Jersey, Sanu was a standout in both football and track before moving on to college.

Kenny Stills // @KSTiLLS // #TVPStills
New Orleans, Wide Receiver #84
2014 Base Salary: $495,000
After developing a great relationship and consistent report with his quarterback, Kenny Stills has become a top target in New Orleans. The 2013 fifth-round pick has instantly improved the New Orleans offense by giving the team a legitimate deep threat.

Previous Winners:
2013 // Russell Wilson
2012 // Russell Wilson
2011 // Victor Cruz
2010 // Stevie Johnson
2009 // Steve Smith
2008 // Matt Cassel
2007 // David Garrard

Not sure who will win off of popularity but a "legit" vote would make Bell the runaway. Cheapest contract with the most production. How could he not get it?

He's tied for making the least amount of money out of any candidates, and was a top 5 player this season. He should run away with this award.

If its a popularity contest, does anyone think CIN. DEN. NO or BALT fans will outvote steelers fans?

Nobody outside their market or die hard fantasy leagues even know who Anderson or sANU is.

A certain Miami Dolphins WR might take the cake with that one. Maybe we should start a thread about it...
