It looks like a "Mitchell & Ness Vintage" style winter jacket to me. Here are a couple that look like that same model and style of jacket that you're looking for.

^ I may have to get one myself!

On your pic, I noticed that dudes collar had the Gold and white stripe (but no stripes or detail on the sleeves.) Here's one I found similar but detail of gold on the sleeves and the Steelers logo as well as the AFC Logo. It's also a zipper-style instead of buttons.

Personally, I love the first choice. Hope this helped you out.

Here's a similar one but with a zipper instead of buttons:

That's from this shop:

Or another similar one:

I just Googled "Steelers letterman jacket". But that doesn't look like the letterman jackets that were around when I was a kid. I had a raggedy one with gold pleather sleeves that was too tight for me. I remember whenever I raised my arms the sleeves came down nearly to my elbows. But that was back around 1979 when I was knee-high to a grasshopper's butthole. Back then you could still get stuff like that at TJ Maxx or some other bargain store.

Your right the one in his pic is yellow collar, i have this jacket....I dont think its made that way anymore. Mitchell Ness changes the styles usually with in the next year. I got mine used so i believe it to be mid 90's?

Players on the team can have letterman-style jackets like this one custom made.
