Default Texans RT Eric Winston released...

....actually has me thinking of players we can cut to land him. He easilly becomes the 2nd best OL in this years FA (if not better than Carl Nicks).

losing mike wallace might not be so bad if he were the consolation prize. sure would like to keep both. landing winston would be akin to getting jeff hartings back in the day IMO.

for vet minimum of course.

Maybe we should take up a collection on here and see if we can come up with enough to sign him? I can't believe free agency starts in a couple hours and we are sitting at basically $0 in free cap space. Actually, I guess I can believe it.
