Not Bad! Don't know if you needed to trade up to get him in the 2nd though...

That's a good draft. I'd rather have Nicolas Jean-Baptiste as a NT than Hebron Fangupo, but that's personal preference and I've seen him play quite a bit more. I'd still like to see another Offensive Lineman for depth and competition. I would have taken Cordy Glenn if he fell to 24, he didn't. I have a feeling there will be a run on Offensive Lineman in the 1st round.

See, the thing is, there are only 3 true NT's in the first 15 DT's in the draft. I passed on Dontari Poe in the 1st round, too risky for me to gamble on a boom or bust pick. I think he's an average player, just a workout warrior. So, someone took him at the end of the 1st round and teams like Denver & Houston might have taken him, then my only other option would have been to wait until the later rounds, or possibly Josh Chapman from Alabama.....but hes been injured before and I didn't want him.

So, if you really want someone and you believe i them, you go get them, knowing the draft is deep at OG/OT and I could wait. Could Ta'amu have fallen to me in the 2nd, sure. I just didn't want to chance it.

I really like Fangupo and I can see getting starter quality with him at #3 or #4, where he could be sitting.

Takes on blocks like a champ and has out-manned and out-powered some triple teams as well. I like what he has to offer. Starter quality that could slip in the high to mid rounds.

Well for my prefence, I'd have waited and taken Osemele in the 2nd and gotten Chapman later! I am more concerned with out O-line than our D...

That's another good route. I'm a big LSU fan and have seen Chapman play quite a bit. I want to say he had a pervious knee injury/surgery which steered me away.
