They get upfront royalties and minimums. Trust me when I say, they make money on everything, if they didn't they would not do so a hideous outfit. The Rooneys should man up and have to wear a suit that looks like this. They look like characters that shoul dbe on the old Banana Splits or the New Zoo Reveiw show back in the 70's.

Obviously, the Rooneys want to make sure people know that they have been part of the NFL for 80 years. After all, how could anyone not look at the Pittsburgh Steelers wearing those funky uniforms and not ask, "WTF is THAT all about??"

Like the idea but I think the throwbacks are just ok. The '33 uniforms would have been the coolest though. Either way both scream smashmouth football.
