This is a DL deep draft and we have plenty of LB's...we need another Guard/Tackle

I would be extremely pleased with Ta'amu or Kendricks, but let's see what's available when the time comes. There are some good options at NT in round 3 like Mike Martin and Josh Chapman as well.

I know you guys want Alameda but read this about DeCastro:

Quote:
as the right guard flattened All-Pac 12 defensive tackle Alameda Te’Amu on a 45-yard reverse for a score by receiver Chris Owusu. It also marked the first time that Te’Amu was held to no statistics in a game (spanning 39 contests).

if we trade down to grad Ta'amu, Fleener or Upshaw it will go down as my favorite steelers draft ever. i never really mentioned us taking DeCastro because i never thought we would trade down that far to grab him but having the best guard to come out of college in ten years fall to us at 24 is the greatest thing

DeCastro is the best guard to come out in 10 years and he would of shut down any tackle

I was just reading about Brandon Thompson, sounds like another good option.

I'm hoping two things take place:

1. They make a trade with St. Louis for their two 2nd round picks for Mike Wallace; they will not be able to sign this kid, get something in return now.

2. Jerrel Worthy - NT in the 2nd

Clevelands is sill, but the move with the Vikings was likely because Tampa was also in the play for richardson and they had to move there or tampa would have (or some one else).
That move wasn't to bad, but the drafting of Weeden at 22 was downright foolish, they could have gotten him in the second. Let us have decastro.

If Josh Chapman is there in the 2nd they should grab him. He is the best NT for Steelers defense. If Chapman is gone then BPA an ILB
