Listening to Mike & Mike that Mel Kiper considers DeCastro the steal of the draft so far. Had him top 10 best players in the draft. Getting him at #24 is a steal. Great job front office.

I'm not against your thought on a Wallace trade for two #2's. Even though I think Wallace will eventually report, I think he just signs for the year and then moves on. Get something for him now if that's the case.

If something truly bizzare happens and either Adams or Martin fall to us in the 2nd round then we get to finish our OL off and we would be good for the next 10 years. Imagine Gilbert, Decastro, Pouncey and Martin or Adams on our OL. We could get Josh Chapman in the third.

The Browns were afraid the Bucs were going to trade ahead of them and grab Richardson.

I agree....Wallace thinks he's worth Fitzgerald money but can't produce said stats or key catches...I say nip the problem in the butt now and get some picks...Steelers groomed him and there are a few WRs just like him that they can coach up again...

Mychal Kendricks is looking real good this round.
Kelechi Osemele was often predicted to the team here as well and he could play RT or G. If we really like Jonathan Martin, Mike Adams, or Cordy Glenn and they fall, could be a good trade up. Martin and Decastro together again in Pittsburgh? I think we could get Chapman in the 3rd coming off his injury. And please forget about Mike Martin. His weaknesses are very detrimental to him playing the NT position. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/p...85/mike-martin A Safety or Running Back in round 3 is not out of the question. Can't wait. |

I think the Steelers think of Mychal Kendricks as a young James Farrior.
I still get impressed seeing Kendrick's speed sideline to sideline. He comes with a wallop too. He would just have to get stronger at taking on O-lineman the same way a lot of undersized guys have done including Farrior and Foote. He already has that crafty way of slipping blocks and his speed will have him closing fast on QBs. |

I agree one more OL would be awesome. The defense has proven itself year in and year out and I really think we still have depth there. Sylvester and Foote will fill Farriors spot this year and our young CBs can hold it together for a year.
The OL has been an issue the last few years, injuries and instability has been something BB and the running game have had to deal with. Addressing the OL with quality picks will set this team up for years to come if they stay healthy.
