The San Francisco 49ers made 17 undrafted free agent signings after the NFL Draft was over. Some of which were players who could have had breakout college careers if it weren't for dealing with numerous injuries. The 49ers would love to have at least one of their undrafted free agents to become a big NFL star. While that may certainly be unlikely, it's never a bad time to be hopeful. Especially when the 49ers drafted for depth and subsequently signed players for the same reason - to become a better football team.
