Steelers Open Up As Favorites In 11 Games According To Cantor Race & Sports Book
Wednesday, May 9th, 2012 by Dave Bryan
Joe Fortenbaugh of the National Football Post reported today that the new Cantor Race & Sports Book inside the Palms Hotel & Casino became the first sports book to release point spreads for the 240 games that take place from Week 1 to Week 16 in the 2012 season. Fortenbaugh reports that the wagering is currently capped at $2,000 per game right now, but that amount will be increased to $5,000 per game as the season gets closer.
As you can see by the weekly list of odds below that the Pittsburgh Steelers are right now favored in 11 of their 15 games listed with spreads. The only games they are not favored in are the road games against the Denver Broncos, New York Giants, Baltimore Ravens and the Dallas Cowboys. The largest they are favored in any of their games is 7 points against both the Washington Redskins and the Kansas City Chiefs.

It seems like we play a divison opponent almost back to back every year. We have the Ratbirds twice in three weeks.
