A.J. Green also played with a rookie QB...The QB means everything, ask Santonio...

Not too sure about that statement buddy. I think it's like the glove on the hand, they need each other. How about Cam and Smith @ Carolina? Wasn't Cam a rookie?

Cam was a freak of nature.....Now, any franchise QB will make a wideout look good.....Santonio holmes would put up better stats or equal to Wallace in Pittsbugh. Put Wallace on the jets once.

Name me a great franchise QB that didn't have great receivers. I personally think that the two positions compliment each other. Neither a franchise QB without great receivers nor a great receiver without a good QB will win many championships.

Mark Clayton was his only standout receiver, if i'm not mistaken. All the other receivers we're never mentioned in a top ten manner. Not even Clayton, to be honest.

Smith had a very nice career, but you have to wonder how much of that is the QB.

I think our situation is similar. We've had pretty productive WR's since Ben has been around. We had a couple of great one's when Terry was QB also. Those guys were great, but it's obviously a combo that makes it work. But we seemed to have a lot of busts in between those 2 QB's. Thigpen was probably the exception.

Are we to think Holmes all of the sudden regressed sharply in the last 2 years? I think a lot has to do with the QB and proficiency of the offense.

That's why football is the ultimate team sport. Best team wins, not the team with the best players.

Ok, maybe I've missed it, which is very possible: I keep hearing Wallace has a bad attitude, etc, where the heck did that come from? I've not read that anyone that actually knows or plays with the guy ever said that? Just because he's treating it like a business decision/deal (WHICH IT IS) he's now the anti-christ?
