Hrapmann kicked the third field goal and was doing the kickoffs at least late in the game. I wasn't aware of it, but it's possible he did all of the kickoffs in the second half.

I'm not selling him out at all, he will be fine as preseason goes along. Others plays he protected well, Ben had some time ina couple plays, than he ducked and ran out of the pocket. But when we gauge our OLINE by how many times our QB gets laid out, 2 for 11 not to good to start off the day with.
I finally watched the game over last night with a bit more detail and yeah, Adams had some lapses in his technique in pass protection that will need more work. Its not surprising to me as he was somewhat inconsistent at OSU, but the scouts salivated about him in postseason evaluation.

One play that he let the rusher get the edge, he just didnt have a good kick slide(more of a lateral shuffle) to get depth and he didnt deliver a punch to the rusher. Another, he sat up too high and let the DE get under him and bull rush him back into Ben.

Foster too was a bit shaky in pass protection, but maybe its working next to the rookie??

Sylvester looked to be playing out of control at ILB. One play he got put on his back by the OG. Another he ran way left and took himself out of the play that went right. A couple others he looked to shoot gaps and get the wrong one. Makes me happy we signed Brandon Johnson.

Essex sucked, jolly sucked, 68 Meachem? Sucked, special teams sucked, Gilbert looked like crap a few times, Adams sucked a bit, the line couldn't give Ben any time at all on any play action passes, special teams sucked too

Didn't remember seeing colon.. did he play, is he injured or anything?

Colon didn't play. He got his ankle rolled on in practice about a week before the game. The good news is he was back at practice yesterday with the first team o-line.

How can anyone say any of the starters on defense sucked? They were hardly out there thanks to the ineptitude of the "dream team." The only starter on defense that stood out was McLendon - and that was in a good way.

the bad news is Ramon Foster is now the RT with the first team 0-line until Adams or Starks are healthy enough to play again and allow Gilbert to return to RT...
