I'm completely down with your opinion here Bro...and I'll jump on the Bryant McFadden bandwagon as well......I just plain like this kids intensity. The more playing time he gets, the better he will showcase, IMHO. Get a little more experience in him and he'll be jumping routes and hammering people.

The Steelers will utilize their weapon at the TE position. Heath Miller is my choice. In actuality, I hope that we're all right on this one. Imagine that. WOW! WE REALLY DO SUPPORT ONE HELL OF A TEAM!

I'm sorry, but I didn't see enough from Willie Parker to consider him a viable option to carry the load of the offense. He had some huge plays, and will definitely be one of the best in the game in that capacity, but most seem to forget plenty of below-average games against tough defenses (New England, Jacksonville). He doesn't have a nose for the 0-5 holes the way he does for 8-9. That in itself suggests the ball will go in the air a bit more than it has, and Miller is going to be the guy Ben looks for after Ward.

McFadden is a strong second candidate, but isn't starting yet. Odds are good he won't this season, either, considering the extension 'Shea just signed this off-season. That shows management has faith in him, and I don't feel he was any sort of liability. Ask this question next year and I'll say B McFad.

Also, I realize this next suggestion isn't within the spirit of the question, but Ben certainly has a positive situation to become one of the top four or five QBs in TDs and yards, instead of just rating and completion percentage. Don't get me wrong, I'd MUCH rather have the last two than the first two characteristics, but I think because of those, he has the ability to have a Tom Brady 2005-type of season.

Yeah, I'm kind of leaning towards Nate myself. I kind of get the sense that this guy is just waiting to explode.

I have just liked Nate Washington from the time I first heard about him in last years camp. The fact he is over 6 feet tall is a good thing to. But one of the main reasons I like this kid. Look in the AFC title game in when he broke up that potential INT. For a young WR to pick up those little things that can prevent a turnover is a big plus in my book. I know of two times last year where Quincy Morgan could have broken up a couple INT's and didn't. The first one was in Jaqs game. The one that Mathis picked in overtime and took it to the house for the game winning TD. Morgan didn't give a very good effort to break up that pick. Then in the Lions game there was another chance for Morgan to break up a INT and again not a very good effort by him. I like Morgan but for a vet WR I think he should be better at little things that can prevent a turnover.

You do realize that Ben has done things in his first two years that NOONE has done...ever!! Why take one bad game and try to base someones career on it...based on your logic...Ben should have had an awful year last year based on the AFC championship game from the year before. Sorry ...but no logic is bad logic.
As for the Bus... We all love him but we dont kid ourselves into thinking that he was more than a situational player and an inspirational teammate. The latter is much more imporatant than the first...it will not be that much of a stretch for someone to meet the on-field numbers that he produced.

I'm thinking Bryant McFadden or Nate Washington. Both show a lot of potential.
