The Philadelphia Eagles repeated an ugly bit of history in Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns. Eagles fans like myself remember how Week 1 went in 2011, when Philadelphia struggled to put away a St. Louis Rams team that went 2-14. After that, the Birds faced an actual playoff team in the Atlanta Falcons and went down to a bitter defeat, which set the tone for the bitter season to come.
