Get the refs back now! Tired of the no holding calls, inconsistent calls for pass interference and the lack of knowledge about the game from these replacement refs! That 4th & 1 offside penalty was horrible! The man was drawn offside because th tight end was moving and so were 2 men in the backfield! The real refs are part of the game and the NFL family....start treating them like that....get off your greedy butt and get them back! Replacement refs are costing games....teams don't need the extra help to lose!

I agree. That call was atrocious. It was clearly a penalty on the offense for the shift. That call led to a first down and a TD when if it was against the offense, it would have merely been an attempted FG. That alone could have been the difference of the game.

I'm not willing to say the refs have cost us a game. But, what drives me crazy is that they are sucking the life out of the game. Too many flags. It takes waaaay to long to make the calls. The games seem to drag along like a drunken snail.
Please PLEASE PLEASE get this deal done and end the madness! |

I won't say specifically they have cost us a game, as calls seem to be bad both ways. But these refs have definitely affected the NFL this year and the outcomes of many games. Maybe sometimes more obvious than others, but I have seen numerous times where they have affected the momentum of a game. I am still thankful the phantom PI call in the Jets game did not affect us.
All you have to do is look at the team records around the NFL, this year is unlike any other and there is a reason for it. WE NEED THESE REFS BACK

Remember - Goodell thinks he's bigger than the league. I'm sure he's just fine with waiting this one out - not costing the NFL anything financially - yet.

Goodell ruined this game along time ago when he brought soft to the league and made it pass happy. Nothings changing. Ratings are thru the roof. Its on the owner's anyways, not goodell.

Aaron Rodgers: I apologize to fans, the NFL is tarnishing our game
“First of all, I’ve got to do something that the NFL is not going to do, and I have to apologize to the fans. Our sport is generated, a multi-billion dollar machine, by people who pay good money to come watch us play. And the product on the field is not being complemented by an appropriate set of officials. The games are getting out of control. Like I said in the first week, I’m OK with replacement refs as long as they don’t have a direct impact on the game. Obviously last night there was a direct impact on the game on multiple plays. But my thing is I just feel bad for the fans. They pay good money to watch this. The game is being tarnished by an NFL that obviously cares more about saving some money than having the integrity of the game diminished.” |
