Default Bailey throws a no-hitter against Pirates

The Pirates definitely know how to collapse in big style.

Nutting should give the Pirates to Lemiuex already.

0-0-0

1st time had a no-hitter thrown against them since Bob Gibson in 1971.

Clinched 20th straight year of losing season.

Truly a record setting season

Ed Bouchette‏@EdBouchette

#pirates put cherry on top of epic collapse. No hit for first time in 41 years & seal 20th straight season without a winner

this year i finally let down my guard and actually had faith we would finally be rooting for a team with a winning record. serves me right for believing...

elias sports bureau says in MLB history 500 teams have had a record 16 games above .500 going into late august. NONE of those teams ever finished below .500.

we are witnessing the apex of suck.

in the last 20 years EVERY team in NFL, NHL, MLB, & NBA has made the playoffs atleast once. that is except for the pirates and KC Royals (who havent done it in 25).

pathetic.
