Suburban Atlanta prepares for the worst
A gated community near Atlanta has decided to step up security this week. The reason is not burglaries, but another issue entirely: the presidential election. In Woodstock, Ga., about 30 miles north of Atlanta, the president of a homeowners’ association sent an e-mail on Sunday informing residents that the entrance gates would be closed 24 hours a day beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday, out of concern over possible civil unrest after the election. “I feel it is better to take a position of caution to enhance controlled access to the community until we see what (if any) negative repercussions may occur because of the results of the election,” wrote Bill Stanley, the president of the homeowners’ association at the Cottages of Woodstock, a residential community for people 55 and over. The entrance gates have been open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. during various construction projects. Mr. Stanley said the gates would be closed round the clock until next Monday – “if all goes well.” http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2...d=tw-thecaucus Woodstock is northwest of Atlanta heading to the Alabama and Tennessee borders and is a dark red portion of a very red state - wonder who they are afraid may be acting up - geriatric Romney supporters crazed with grief over 4 more years of life under the Kenyan Socialist?

It's a lock
Romney 49%, Obama 48% in Gallup's Final Election Survey PRINCETON, NJ -- President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney are within one percentage point of each other in Gallup's final pre-election survey of likely voters, with Romney holding 49% of the vote, and Obama 48%. After removing the 3% of undecided voters from the results and allocating their support proportionally to the two major candidates, Gallup's final allocated estimate of the race is 50% for Romney and 49% for Obama. http://www.gallup.com/poll/158519/ro...up%20Headlines |

What is the over/under on the number of heads of GOP supporters that will explode if Willard wins the popular vote and loses the electoral vote?

i think this is too close to call right now, i predict it's gonna be another bush-gore type of race, could go either way.
the one time it was wrong, it predicted gore was going to win. he won the popular vote but not the electoral vote |

Great compilation of stupidity, but I could probably make one twice as long on Joe Biden alone with half the sources.

Biden doesn't mean his stupid things and they do no real harm. The GOP's position on rape is potentially tragic for all vagina-Americans, at least.
