Considering that he was only thrown to around that many times, that is pretty good. I believe one of those was a huge TD catch as well.

Also, Saunders is a Tight End, while Sweed is a Wide Receiver, so Sweed should have much higher numbers. Heath Miller is having a great season, but is still only averaging around 25 yuards per game.

Poor analysis.

This was predictably thoughtless vitriol bit the image of the Pope's designated ball licker was just too wet to toss aside

i believe it all had to do with his off-field issues and the Steelers long-time history of zero tolerance for drugs, criminal acts, and anything detrimental to the organization's image, though there have been several obvious exceptions. i still have never understood why Santonio Holmes didn't go to rehab or something similar, for his substance problem, instead of leaving after being a Superbowl star. *shaking my head*

If it was their no tolerance policy then why the hell did they keep him until this week???!!! What, they kept him around to gather more info of the Steelers new offense to use when he plays for Indy??? It was nothing more than them feeling great about Paulson. That's it.

Exactly. This young man has more upside and will prove to be better. IMO he probably is better already. I think Saunders can contribute in Indy and be a solid NFLer, but Paulson will be better.

There is no real world where the Steelers have a zero tolerance policy about drugs, crimes or thing "detrimental" to their image.
We're certainly not the Cincinnati bengals when it comes to second chances, but you'd have to have been purposely not been paying attention to think we have zero tolerance of shenanigans

Shenanigans?

He was taking Adderall for ADHD. The same medication that Dwyer takes.

The difference: Dwyer informed the NFL before he was tested; Saunders never informed them. Hence, Saunders was suspended.
