Both teams kind of remind me of Cowher's '92 team. Young, aggressive, hard hitting teams led by fiery coaches.

Don't see either as a SB contender, but they play hard football.

Last offensive play by Seattle, the guard chops Aldon Smith while he is engaged with the tackle. Flag for chop block.

Remember when Baltimore chopped the Steelers all day long in the opener last year and the explanation was that it's OK if the lineman next to the engaged lineman does the chopping?

What am I missing?

I was wondering the same thing. Here is what I thought:
if BALT did indeed have an OL engaged w/ a Steeler, and another player blocks him below the knees: chop block.

Up high: no chop block.

But, I recall some (BS) explanation, after that game, about two OL side-by-side "can indeed" chop block...

Two inquiring minds want to know.
