OT: Baseball playoffs are a joke
St. Louis lost their division by ten games, had the fifth worst record in the NL, and is one game away from home field advantage in the World Series, all because the NL won the All Star game.
Detroit at least won their division, but had the *seventh* best record in the AL. Thanks Mr. Selig for making a complete and utter mockery of this once great sport. Back before wildcards, you had real pennant races and neither of these 88-win teams would have sniffed the postseason. |
