I don't like high-ankle sprains. Every time somebody gets a "mild" one it ruins their season (Ben & Pouncey).

agreed losing brown took a little edge off the steelers offense, but i thought cotch and sanders played really well in his absence

I think we can get by without him for the chiefs game, but I hope he's ready for the ravens game. In the meantime I assume Gilreath gets activated from the practice squad.

Not high ankle sprain as first reported, good sign

According to Profootballtalk, Antonio Brown does not have a high-ankle sprain as was previously reported
Brown told reporters after the game that he had suffered the dreaded high-ankle sprain, but a league source tells Profootballtalk that's not the case and that the injury is not considered severe. Brown added that he expects to play in Week 10 against the Chiefs, but with Kansas City in complete disarray, the Steelers could opt to hold the receiver out. We should have plenty of updates on the matter throughout the upcoming week.

Let him rest against KC - IMO - Cotch needs some more reps. As long as we don't play down to our competition - as we often do - (or they really get up for us) we should be fine without AB next week!
