Yes, I like the direction this conversation has headed - first thing's first, and that's KC. Any NFL team can show up on any day - and the opposite, too. Although our team has taken great strides, we all know that Steelers teams in recent years have been very susceptible to playing down to the level of a weak opponent.

Fire Arians:

Want to talk about trap? You know those "in between games" you talked about, Kansas City being one of them?

Take a look at the schedule a little closer. We get Baltimore 2 weeks within' each other. The middle game? AT CLEVELAND. If that isn't a trap, I don't know what is.

cleveland is a division game, even though they're a weak team, i doubt we take any division opponent lightly. losing a division game can cause you a lot of problems for playoff seeding, i'd be a lot more worried about the team overlooking KC much more than cleveland

Agreed. I have yet to understand if it's the entire team that just slacks or if it's the coaching that's getting them lax. It has never made sense to me. For me it's when we play the weak teams that my nerves kick in. I am usually settled and calm in the tough team games...in between the Goodell calls.

I heard an analyst talking about this type of thing, specifically, the JAX-GB game.

He said that bad teams know that they're bad, and do not want to be embarrassed. Hence, bad teams will put forth their most sincere effort, in an attempt not to get blown out.

KC is the front-runner in the Geno Smith sweepstakes... yet, PITT will get their best effort.

Unfortunately for KC, their "best effort" is still horrible.

KC 13
PITT 35

Ravens fans are so crepid. They are holding onto those 2 win we gave them last year and act as if their SB champs or something.

Already they are talking smack about how they crushed us last year but forget the years in a consecutive row we destroyed them.

Personally speaking I think if we play as hard and focused as we did in the 4th Q against NY we will enialate Baltimore and knock them down off their pedastool.

Are we ready? I think yes. Prepared? Let's hope so.

Is it really a surprise coming from those clowns.....their douche bag of a coach takes Gatorade baths after regular season wins
