could you imagine if Limbaugh, O'reilly, Coulter or any other non liberal anchor said what Chris Matthews said about "Sandy". All you can do is laugh at the double standard.

But the idea of the double standard where the GOP is always the victim and only Dems get a pass is a little old

Can you imagine what Rush, Hannity and friends would be saying if MSNBC had a political commentator that was dispensing a bankroll of over $300 million in anti-GOP and anti-Romney attacks who pitched a fit on air and challenged a State being called by MSNBC for Romney?

The hypocrisy on both sides is pervasive.

Matthews is getting more beat up by the right wing media, which is dead silent on the Rove fiasco Tuesday night on Fox, whereas (by way of example) the Time magazine media crtic and Jon Stewart commented on the Rove meltdown whereas I did not see anything on either Time or The Daily Show about the ignorant statement from Chris Matthews.

My point is both sides showcase the gaffes of their opponents more than the screw-ups of their own side.

That is politics - Dems got tired of being punching bags and a significant section of the GOP thinks it is a double standard that anyone punches back

I did see his apology I just thought he got off easy compared to say Limbaugh. Not that I am a Limbaugh fan I have listened to him less than 20 hours of my life. Maybe I missed it but I didn't even see Oreilly address it. The big picture is what bothers me. You have a journalist with such love for Obama, he gets a tingling feeling down his leg and he is on national TV spewing stuff like that. It would be similar to a Limbaugh or Beck stating they were glad Benghazi occurred because it would show Obamas deficiencies in leadership. Although it obviously had no effect anyway but still would have been very ugly and inappropriate.

I agree 100 percent its done on both sides. I am not a GOP apologist. I vote based on my perspective, mainly financially and I want judges who are hard on crime. Believe me I have thought about the libertarian aspect but I just can't grasp the thought of legalizing drugs and letting people do whatever they want. People can smoke pot all they want as long as they pay for it and don't receive handouts. ITs like people on food stamps buying beer and cigarettes. Infuriates me. I just can't picture a scenario where people smoking pot would not be getting welfare. There are exceptions, I have gone to parties with Physicians and nurses where joints were passed around. I do like the thought of less government involvement though.

Time to tell any Democrats you know to fu** off and die...

Starting early this morning, I am going to un-friend every single individual on Facebook who voted for Obama, or I even suspect may have Democrat leanings. I will do the same in person. All family and friends, even close family and friends, who I know to be Democrats are hereby dead to me. I vow never to speak to them again for the rest of my life, or have any communications with them. They are in short, the enemies of liberty. They deserve nothing less than hatred and utter contempt.

I strongly urge all other libertarians to do the same. Are you married to someone who voted for Obama, have a girlfriend who voted 'O'. Divorce them. Break up with them without haste. Vow not to attend family functions, Thanksgiving dinner or Christmas for example, if there will be any family members in attendance who are Democrats.

Do you work for someone who voted for Obama? Quit your job. Co-workers who voted for Obama. Simply don't talk to them in the workplace, unless your boss instructs you too for work-related only purposes. Have clients who voted Democrat? Call them up this morning and tell them to take their business elsewhere.

Have a neighbor who votes for Obama? You could take a crap on their lawn. Then again, probably not a good idea since it would be technically illegal to do this. But you could have your dog take care of business. Not your fault if he just happens to choose that particular spot.
