It was pouring down rain in Atlanta this morning so i voted this afternoon - finished up in 10 minutes - i have spent longer waits in line during primaries

Most of the incumbents were unopposed or had only minor party opposition - modern democracy in action

Georgia polls close at 7 pm EST - Georgia will be called for Willard no later than 7:01

Voting is kind of like driving.
Select (D) to move forward,
and (R) to go backwards.

The guy is holding the door for voters - clearly a menace

here they consolidated about 20 voting precincts all across town into 3. i have worked as an election judge/official for 5-6 different elections. with atleast 6 officials/judges per site at $175 per day (probably more now) i can attest theyre saving some good gubment money.

we used to tally some of the absentee ballots as well. i can tell you that back in '92 it cost about $100 for every ballot mailed out, received, and then be processed. America spends alot of $$$ to get your vote.

whats funny is most people i know did early voting to avoid the long lines and ended up waiting in long lines.

He seems to be doing no harm, but whats the point of him being there like that? It CAN be intimidating.

It's a non-story that Fox is ginning up to rally the base about the menace that will continue unless Mitt wins and appoints an Attorney General who will indict these sorts of people - the refusal to indict the New Black Panthers for voter intimidation was a staple of Fox News several years ago - this is like a radio station playing its countdown of greatest hits during the reign of the Kenyan Socialist

he's one of the election judges. basically paid volunteers (through the county clerks office) who greet, open doors, take information, and show the elderly how to use the voter machines.

i had a fellow whitey open the door for me. i was intimidated because he was a republican. you can spot em a mile away by their 10 gallon belt buckles and wranglers.
