My first Steeler game at Heinz, and I'm not going to see Ben play.

Finally purchased tickets to my first game at Heinz. Section 133 row E, 5 ROWS FROM THE FIELD! Is it bad to be bummed out?

Hey, nothing is set in stone. Depending on the severity of the injury, he may be out on the field. Tomlin listed him as questionable, and some sources have him being able to play Sunday. Either way, it'll be a good game to watch, and the atmosphere alone will be something of amazement.

I agree with both your points. I'm going to continue my love for the Steelers after he is gone(just like my childhood idol Kordell...totally serious)but I will be completely bummed to not witness his greatness Sunday night.

its kinda like when i went to see the wu tang clan in concert. it was great, but old dirty bastard (RIP) was in prison, and method man was off doing his own shit and not touring with them at the time.

there were still the 7 remaining members but it was like half the act was missing.

I feel your pain. Luckily for myself I've seen Ben play before (not in a long time and not at the level he's been playing recently), but I bought tix as well and it will be my first game since the 08 season, I was really looking forward to seeing him play more than anything else but I'm still pumped to see a Steelers-Ravens primetime game anyway.
