Haha...6 of those "notable" losses are from '05 and '08. Regular season losses can't really be considered notable if that team goes on to win the SB.

They also threw in the '04 Steelers loss to the Ravens (when they knocked Maddox out and the team ultimately went 15-1). Yeah...real notable loss there lol. Though I suppose it is notable, but not in favor of Ravens fans. If Maddox had been starter all year, who knows what would have happened. He may have even started in '05. Thanks Ravens!

The Ratbirds run defense is highly suspect this time around. Pittsburgh has been tearing a new a-hole on most of the teams they play lately with their running game. It may not be pretty but I think the running game will be much better this year against the Ratbirds than in the past. Which means that they might put 8 in the box and get Wallace open on a couple of deep ones. Which is good as long as Lefty doesn't overthrow him.

the Ratbirds are 26th in the NFL in rushing defense, giving up 132 yds/game.

I suspect with Ben out you can expect us to attempt to fully exploit that weakness.

Did not intend to condemn the whole state

But as someone who lives in Maryland doesn't the Terp fans obsessive dislike of Duke seem to you eerily similar to how the Steelers are inside the heads of much of the Ravens fan base? That was my basis for saying something drives that sort of mindset
