The Steelers should have pulled Leftwich, in favor of Batch, at the first sign of injury. The defense was holding the Ravens. They Steelers may have put enough points on the board to win the game with a healthy quarterback. They gave the game to the Ravens. It's pathetic. Blame the coaches.
Mike Kafka, who was a rookie in 2010, has never played a down in the regular season. I don't see how the Steelers would have him ready to come in, and play, if needed, in less than a week, with a totally new team, and offense. They need to sign a seasoned veteran back up. |
